    Chung-Ang University Industry-Academic Project _ Remodeling on the 1st floor of the Jeongdok Library 

    PROJECT GOAL _ At the heart of the space lies the Nobel Lounge, flanked by open-plan bookshelves that extend on both sides, forming a seamless and accessible layout. This renovation redefines the library as an open cultural platform—welcoming diverse age groups, fostering casual encounters, and transforming the space into a living archive of time and community _ Team project

    공간의 중심에는 노벨 라운지가 배치되어 있으며, 이를 기준으로 양옆으로 열린 형태의 서가가 확장되어 자연스럽고 접근성 높은 동선을 형성합니다.
    본 리노베이션은 도서관을 열린 문화 플랫폼으로 재정의하여, 다양한 연령층이 자연스럽게 머물고 교류할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고, 시간과 커뮤니티의 흔적이 축적되는 살아 있는 아카이브로서의 공간을 제안합니다.  
    본 포트폴리오에는 팀 프로젝트 중 본인이 직접 기획하고 수행한 주요 과정과 결과물을 선별하여 수록하였습니다.

    Chung-Ang University Industry-Academic Project _ Remodeling Project of the Jeongdok Library Cafeteria

    PROJECT GOAL _ The remodeled cafeteria adopts an open layout featuring a large communal table and a seamless connection to the outdoor terrace. This design expands the spatial experience beyond eating—allowing users to read, study, or casually relax. It also reflects and extends the open-concept identity of the first floor of Jeongdok Library, where the central Nobel Lounge is flanked by open-access bookshelves on both sides.

    정독도서관의 리모델링된 카페테리아는 대형 커뮤니티 테이블을 중심으로 한 열린 구조와 외부 테라스와의 자연스러운 연결을 특징으로 합니다.
    본 공간은 식사를 넘어 독서, 학습, 휴식 등 다양한 활동이 가능하도록 공간 경험을 조닝하여, 중앙의 노벨 라운지를 중심으로 양측에 개방형 서가가 배치된 정독도서관 1층의 오픈 콘셉트 아이덴티티를 반영하고 이를 확장합니다.
